Work at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival!

Join in the fun by working weekends at the best event in history, the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. Earn extra money just in time for the holidays! Interviews will take place at the Renaissance Festival on Saturday October 13th for all jobs, with a second set of interviews on Saturday October 27th for any remaining positions.

We have several different employment oppritunities at the Renaissance Festival. They include:

Ticket Booth: Sell admission tickets to our guests. Flexable hours between 9am and 6pm with shift length of 2 to 5 hours. Responsibilities include cashier duties and inventory control.

Souvenir Booth: Stock and sell souvenir items guests. Flexable hours between 7am and 7pm with shift length of 2 to 5 hours. Responsibilities include cashier duties, restocking and inventory control.

Coffee Booth: Make and sell food and drinks to our guests. Flexable hours between 8am and 6pm with shift length of 2 to 5 hours. Responsibilities include cashier duties, making and serving drinks, selling prepared food items, restocking and inventory control.

Soft Drink and Beer Booth: Serve sodas and beer to our guests. Workers must be 18yrs old and able to serve alcoholic beverages. Normal hours are between 9am to 6pm. Responsibilities include cashier duties and inventory control.

Site Crew: Includes a variety of tasks that may vary from day to day including: directing cars in the parking lot, restocking beverages, site clean up, trash collection, and assisting safety services. Normal hours are between 7am and 7pm depending on the specific job.

Merchant Booths: Each merchant booth is independently owned and staffed. In additon to jobs working directly for the festival we also make your application available to merchants who are looking for workers. Hours and compensation for people working for our merchants are determined by the individual merchants.

Extra Benefits: Since many of our shifts do not cover the entire day, you are welcome to see all the shows and events for free when you are not scheduled to work. Employees also receive two complementary tickets that can be used by friends and family, and a discount for any additional tickets purchased.

Festival Dates: Our regular dates this year are November 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 16, 23, 24, 25, Dec 1, 2, 8, 9. Our Student Day dates are November 13, 14, 15.

Interviews will take place at the Renaissance Festival on Saturday October 13th for all jobs, with a second set of interviews on Saturday October 27th for any remaining positions. Please bring your State Issued ID card and Social Security Card to the interview. You can come any time from 10am to 2pm; no appointment is needed.

Interview Location: Interviews will take place at the Renaissance Festival Office, located one mile north of Hammond High School. Click here for directions and maps to the site.

Requirements for Workers: All workers must bring their Drivers License (or other state issued ID card) and Social Security card to the interview. Anyone serving alcohol must be at least 18 years old and will be required to get a servers permit. We will reimburse you for the cost of the permit in your first paycheck.
