Can I buy Tickets, Season Passes and Souvenir items on your website? Yes you can by them from our QuickPrint ticketing system after June 1, 2008!
Can I use my credit cards at the festival?The Lousiana Renassance Festival accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express at the Ticket Booth and the Souvenir Booth. We also offer "Coin of the Realm", which are $5 tokens that may be purchased at the Ticket Booth (and other selected locations listed in the program) using your credit card. These Coins may be used as cash at any booth in the festival, and unused Coins may be returned at the Ticket Booth for a refund. Some of the larger merchants may accept credit cards, but many of the smaller ones are not able to accept them.
Can I wear a costume to the Renaissance Festival?
Yes! You are more than welcome to wear period costumes to the Festival. We even have a costume rental booth just inside the main gate for anyone who decides to dress up after they get here!
Can I bring my pet to the festival?
All service animals are welcome, however we do not allow pets to be brought into the festival. We are working on an arrangement with a local kennel and will post that information here as soon as possible.
Can I bring weapons with me?
You can bring period appropriate weapons as long as they are safe. Edged weapons must be in a sheath and 'peace tied' so it can not be accidently drawn. Projectile weapons can be carried for display, however we prefer you do not bring an ammunition. If you feel you must have the ammunition as part of your outfit, it MUST be securly tie-wrapped with plastic ties where they can not be pulled out without cutting the tie wraps.
Can I bring food or drinks into the festival?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed into the festival. We have several kitchens and drink locations throughout the festival. If you want to bring food and/or drinks you may leave them in your vehicle.
Can I go to the parking lot and then re-enter the festival?
When you exit the festival you can get a hand-stamp which will allow you to re-enter the festival (on the same day) for no charge.
Can I take pictures at the festival?You are welcome to take pictures and video tape for your PERSONAL use. You are not allowed to sell your pictures or video tape without prior written approval from the Louisiana Renaissance Festival.
Can we camp overnight at the Renaissance Festival?
We have rustic camping facilities for our guests who would like to camp onsite. The campground opens on Friday at 4pm and closes Monday at 9am. On our Thanksgiving weekend the campground opens on Thursday at 6pm. We provide portable toilets, however there are no other utilities available in the camping area. The fee for camping is $30 per vehicle ($35 over Thanksgiving weekend) which includes one security gate pass. Festival admission is not included with the camping fees.
